Appropriate for staff and volunteers working with children, young people and families. Equipping participants with the positive, strengths-based language and tools of the Solution Focused Approach (deShazer '85) this course includes elements of the consultancy's successful long-term courses on working with pupils, parents, children and young people in a holistic, positive approach to achieve better outcomes. LONDON 5th December 2006 Venue to be confirmed: A Solution Focused Approach Stage 2

The advanced course for participants who have knowledge of the Solution Focused Brief Therapy model and who wish to move on to a more advanced stage, including Brief TherapyPLUS, a specialist programme devised by the Consultancy when working with resistant or difficult to engage clients. The interest in the Social Pedgagogue model alerts us all to be continually aware of the need to work in a holistic approach and to ensure that all work empowers and encourages the individual to realise his/her own potential for growth and development.

The Consultancy is keen for the Solution Focused Approach to be included in all childcare training and this course highlights how it is fit for purpose for working holistically with children, young people and families.

The one day public courses are full day courses from 9:30am until 4:00pm, registration for both courses is at 9:00am, a hot lunch is provided with a vegetarian option. A venue and course pack including directions will be sent to all attendees after booking.

Terms and Conditions

A confirmed booking constitutes formal acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Fees: The full fee for public courses (outside of Examine, Repair & Move On Approach) is £98.00 (plus VAT = £115.15p) per person Cheques made payable to Eileen Murphy Consultants.
Invoices: Invoices issued on presentation of purchase order number or name - in writing or by email or telephone. Your reservation is a contract and all invoices must be paid within the time allowed.
Cancellations: A refund of the fee paid less an administrative charge of £15.00 is available for all cancellations received in writing two weeks prior to the event. Thereafter a credit for a future seminar less an administration charge of 50% of the fee paid will be issued.
Indemnity: This booking constitutes a legally binding contract. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Eileen Murphy Consultants to change the programme, speaker, date or venue. In the unlikely event of a programme being cancelled, a full refund will be made, but Eileen Murphy Consultants disclaim any further liability.
